I've read that the apple card will tell you if you can be approved with what ever limit via soft pull anyway I tried via my I pad and it told me to unlock my transunion anyway so I did ... App was denined because that could not verify identity due to my DL haveing old address any way ... I never got a hard pull just wondering is that the steps every one took to get a soft pull ( putting in full ssn and all info ) or did they do away with soft pull and only hars pull now
That was the steps that I took when I applied. I used an iphone, applied through the wallet app. they asked for SSN and income. There was no hard pull.

I might apply for Apple Card in 11 months from now. If I apply for any card that will be Apple Card. No other card. Looking forward to June 2021 and hopefully an Apple Card in my Wallet. Or should I say Apple Card in my iPhone.
I recently applied about two weeks ago on my iPhone. It was a soft pull (Transunion) and instantly approved for $2000. If I didn't accept it, there would be no HP on Transunion but since I accepted it, a HP showed up on my TU credit report. I haven't received the first stmt yet and the new account has not shown up on any of the three CR. I love this card. I use it all the time and pay it off right away.
My DP:
FICO 8
TU 704, EXP 712, EQ 723 6/12/20
People get confused as to when a creditor can SP you. If your report is frozen/locked, and they're not someone you already have credit with doing an AR, they cannot SP your credit. That's why you had to unlock and didn't receive a HP.
Its still a SP unless you accept the offer
I recently applied on my wallet using my iPhone m, was a soft pull only asking for last 4 digit of my SSN, I was approved for $5,500 limit, and once I accepted the offer it appeared as HP on my TU.
