Applied for CSP - 30 day message...

Hey guys,

I have been staying in the Garden for the last 6 months since my Delta Gold. After being instantly rejected a CF in April and my EXP going up 50 points since then (626-> 676) and about 10K more in CLs from other lenders, I decided to apply for the coveted CSP for my last 5/24 slot.

Well, kinda good news. 30 day message! Furthest with Chase I have gotten. It’s been about 24 hours and the automated line has no update still. I hear it can take up to 48 hours to change. Are the two responses afterward generally “two weeks” (likely approval) or “7-10” (likely denial) still? Most info seems pretty out to date (2017) that I have searched for.

An insights from those who have gotten the 30 day message is appreciative! I figured it was worth a pull for the holiday season then back in the garden for a year if I can pull it off.

Just sit tight and check your online portal through the end of the week.

If you don't see any new card popup then grab the backdoor # for them and query things for ID verfication or any other potential issues.

We almost have the same cards. my oldest card is 1yr 2mo old. And I recenlty got a 4k CLI on my Delta Gold. I applied last week for the CSP and got the same message as you. I think after 4 days I called and said I was approved, logged in on my app and I saw the card. I haven't got the card yet but I'm able to used it troguh apple pay. I also have been denied in the past for CSP.

Just keep calling. I had low hopes and at the end got it with a 15k CL

Update... Move me to APPROVED!

So I have been pretty distraught about the past week because I finally got the 7-10 day message on my automated call. so i was waiting for my letter and begin the recon process with Chase.

So fast forward to today. The letter finally came. I open it up. And see “Please call us regarding your application.” No denial. No credit profile text. I got the verify identity letter for a 7-10 day call.

Call in, did some simple verification. (I think this might be a reason I have never seen a prequal for Chase in my life.) And...

“Congratulations Sage512MB, we were able to approve you for you Chase Sapphire Visa Signature Card.” I jumped out of my seat! The culmination of credit the last year for me and saving that last 5/24 slot payed off. My SL is 6.8K which isn’t my highest, but hey, I would have been happy with 5K base.

TLDR: Got the infamous 7-10 day message. My letter just needed me to verify my identity before approval.

-Paid charge off with WF in last 2 years
-Denied for CF back in March at 630 EXP
-Oldest revolving account: December 2018
-AAofC: 2 years, 11 months

Now with the holidays coming up, I got some spending I can do to hit that SUB.
