Congrats! What's your TU score? That's what was pulled, correct?
Thank you.
I think my TU was at 686 when they pulled it, but of course it took a ding, but I think its worth it.
I've gotten Chase inquiry notifications so far from Equifax and Experian. As well as an Experian notification of the new Walmart card that I also got this past weekend. So far Equifax is +25, up over 800 for the first time, meanwhile Experian dinged almost 35 points, down to 720 :-/ I wish the Fico score notifications gave a bit more information. It's hard to resist pulling reports to see what's going on, but I'll let the dust settle for a few weeks before doing so.
Yep, that's a big DING
It really is. I'm still figuring out all this credit business, so I'm not sure what all's in play. I almost wonder if something else didn't pop up....but I dunno, that'd be very coincidental timing. This is six months since the last inquiries and new credit. Too much too soon, maybe? Oh well it will only help me in the long run, and I don't plan on taking on anything else until the next goals of house and car next spring.
I don't understand this credit thing either. Out of the 15 cards I have listed in my signature, 12 of those I've gotten between Jan 2015 - June 8th, along with a auto loan and a personal loan, on top of that, I've had lots of new inquiries, well over 10, pluse 2 closed secured card accounts that I had less than 6 months, during that same period. So who knows what they look at. But I plan on not applying for anything else for a good long while, I need to let me score increase.
I just applied for the Amazon Rewards Card....I got the 30 day message. I am going to call them in a few hours.
LOL!, Yes very intense!
