Please chime in about the approriate amount of time to reapply for Comenity VISA after being denied. Scores have imporved abut 46 points (up now to about 718 or so) and it'll be 4 months since last applicaton for Sportsman's Guide. No baddies.
I know the store card approvals are more relaxed, so I am looking for someone to specifically address Comneity VISA approvals (not store card approvals) and time frames from last application. Are they okay with reapplying in 90 days after a major score boost, or must it be longer?
Also, do they care if you have 4-6 other Comenity cards with decent credit limits? I would not want them to say I had too much credit with Comenity and use that as denial reason.
Thanks!
by the way, the other Comenity cards I have are store cards. I have major cc's but not through comenity.
Wait 6 months. You might want to just start adding these questions to your existing threads instead of starting new ones on basically same subject.
Can you tell me why you say 6 months? Any reason in partciaulr? My scores will probably be about 50 points higher than they were 4 months ago and wanted to try in July unless you think Comenity has a requirement for 6 months.

No, they don't have that requirement. That's just a general amount of time for any creditor to wait but if your scores have improved that much then you probably would be fine. Why are you focused on that card? Is it a place you normally shop at?
Interested in Sportsman's Guide due to fairly high intial limits it seems to have, fairly generous CLI's, and not as much hassle as with major lenders. I have major Credit cards with a few of the major banks and not focusing on other banks at this time. Thanks!
I would just keep trying for shopping cart trick... I would not apply for sportsmansguide outright.
The SCT results in a hard pull for a VISA with Comenity, so I
''m not sure why the SCT would be helpful now that Comenity has that new policy.

It will at least give you "more" of a chance if you see the pop up.
