Approval odds for non AMEX or non Slate BT card

The DISCO statement cut today and I already owe $112  (bal $4895.00) even though I didn't buy anything.  That's real interest for ya!

Last week I got the Delta Skymiles.  The day after, I noticed I was "pre-approved" for all the revolvers, not just the travel cards but didn't apply.  Today, I get the "expanding your membership" message on EVERYTHING even though my EX score is 19 points higher and the UT is 17 points lower than last week (down to 29%).  AMEX did not do a HP per CCT (thank goodness)!

I'd love the AMEX ED card for it's 0%/$0 BT and rewards but it may be too soon to bother with it for a good SL.  Slate is a useless card outside of BTs.  Are there any other BT cards I might be approved for so I can stop paying interest ASAP and it would still fit my needs after it's paid off (ex. travel rewards from everyday expenses)? Will EQ and TU get updated soon so it reflects the EX data?  Would that improve my odds for a decent SL?  I'm okay with the 3-5% BT fee but am hoping for a $4K SL.  I'd like to drop my payments down to $700 p/mo so I can focus more attention on an emergency fund.   I want the ED this year, regardless of SL, as it fits my long term goals. Then my new cards can age together.  Let me know if I'm being impatient.

Stats in the signature were updated today (CCT).

TIA

Re: Approval odds for non AMEX or non Slate BT card

Have you tried asking discover for a promo APR ?

I would look at BoA.

While chase slate is a worthless card after the BT offer expires, it can be product changed to any of the core Chase products (freedom,FU,CSP,CSR) it’s subject to 5/24 though.
Try chase prequalified

Also while an Amex card member, most denials and even most approvals can be SP. worth trying to app for it since it will most likely be a SP either way

Total Revolving Limits $254,800

Re: Approval odds for non AMEX or non Slate BT card

The APR promo has never occurred to me.  Hmmm...

Just tried BOA for prequals.  It just kept spinning (that prob means no, lol). Actually, I never prequal for anything. But yeah, they have a good card for BT and it has ongoing rewards.  Chase: I just read here someone apped for Slate and FU at the same time.  Was approved for both and moved the CL from the FU to the Slate.  One HP and got to keep the SUB on the FU.  My TU score doesn't reflect the current UTIL (46% but really 29%).  Chase might pull both EX and TU.   I'll sleep your Chase suggestion as I'm just 0/24.

*Edited: the Blue Skymiles card was a SP so still zero inquiries.
