Asking cabalas for cli and 2nd card

I have cabalas visa that will be 6mo's on the 19th. Sl 3k, eq score 774. I understand that a cli is a HP on EQ.

A few weeks ago I called and asked if they offered a business card, I was told no, and the CSR stated many folks have 2 cabalas accounts, 1 for personal aND the other for business. Obviously aping this card is a HP.

So if I do the cli and then app the card, any thoughts on if the inquiries will be combined or will they use same inquiry for the cli and new card? Any thoughts?

I have not decided if I should app the 2nd account. Would rather have true business cards. Just considering options.

Re: Asking cabalas for cli and 2nd card

When it was WFB you were allowed to have 5 cards.

i was wondering if Capital One was going to treat this card differently than other Cap1 cards

5 cards wow! When I spoke with the csr, I was transfered to what I call the back office, i asked the lady I spoke to how cap1 was effecting things, i was informed that the transition is very slow, they are still learning cap1 computer and policies, she said for now they are maintaining status quo the way WFB done things, cli 2x a year and I could apply for a separate card for business.
I'm still wowed by 5 of the same card. Will they do decent sl on each card and can they be combined?

There are Several people on these forums with 2 cards.

One poster has a card with a 20k+ Limit and another with a 35k+ Limit.

i don’t think you can combine them. Although Capital One has that feature and may institute it on Cabelas to clean things up a bit. That would seem logical to me.

Re: Asking cabalas for cli and 2nd card

Thanks all for the responses and good to know multiple cards without toy limits is possible. My card will be 6mo's on the 19th, my Eq score is 774 and great income and less than 1% overall utl, statement cuts around 14th or 15th so doubt I'll receive auto cli but score should support going from 3k to 10k which is my goal. I will call on the 19th and I'll take the HP and once that hits I'll app for cabalas #2 and see what happens. I hope they combine the inquiries and later down the road combine cards.

Instead of a 2nd. Cabelas card you might want to consider the NRA card from FNBO.

It offers 5% Cash Back on Gas and SPORTING GOODS.

Just got the NRA card in October and racked up a bunch of 5% CB on sporting good for Christmas.

Hey that's a great idea, app FNBO. I think the NRA also comes in business version. Do you remember your score and did they pull Eq. And to be further nosey, what was your sl?

They pulled EX.

@Anonymous @ 710

BK 7 discharged 8/14

Initial CL = $2,100 due to BK7 (which is OK for now)

It does come in a business version however I got the personal one

Good Luck
