You can do it!  I had a ton of HPs and 2 medical baddies that were 5.9 years old showing yet (2 COs) and I was approved. Your profile so much stronger than mine..with info you have in siggy...I say youre in...its Xmas credit they are giving out.  Right?

I apped over weekend and called Sunday and then Monday...their customer service is stellar...got brave and wanted to know SCL..so called again..BAM 12K and 0% interest first year and big surprise was 0% interest on balance transfers for a year. Thats kinda too bad...I have soooo little credit I'm using...think I am 13. 99 something % after my first year...a great APR...checked other site for scores needed for approval. When someone was approved for 12K with a one point difference and very recent lates showing on his EX...I was all over it.

Holiday approvals hopefully coming your way. Smiley Happy  Good Luck.

OK, things are going on with it so i'll have to catch up on the progress and will be back in to update after i give them a call on Monday.

Blasted weekends, never did like weekends and still don't. Weekends are always so unproductive Smiley Frustrated

Re: BBVA compass Amex

I received the same message and was approved 2 days later. When I called they told me the message language hadn't been changed and that they had stopped the majority of calls to complete apps although the message still stated you would get a call. Good luck!

After seeing some recent new results in approvals i'm almost of the mind to go against my better judgment and pull the trigger on this card after all. They can only hit EX once (i hope) and on the outside chance of any instant approval, that would be enough to convince me that the tide might just be turning?

There is roughly 8 INQs under 1 year with a EX hovering somewhere around 680 right now maybe. What's the chances ya think? Anyone?

@When I apped and was approved on 9/29 BBVA was my 8th or 9th INQ on EX in less than six months with 14 or 15 new accounts all less than six months old and they approved me at an EX score of 667 for 12k @ 15.24%. I think you have a great shot at it. The big thing seems to be the identity thing that is causing some people to have the apps get hung up and then fail. It's a gamble but I say go for it if you don't mind an EX pull that could go to waste. On the other hand it could pay off in spades.

Credit magic your profile is similar to mine and I was approved so I think you would have a good chance based on the info provided.

It was funny how the page refreshed in midstream in an instant while i was inputing details which tells me it nailed a lock (MATCH) on accurate data.

Weekends are the pits for doing this with some certain lenders since it's my guess that they set their system on autosuspend so to enjoy the weekend and not find any surprises when they open back up for business Monday .

Yeah that instant refresh resorted the input data in a flash. You learn to quickly pick up and become very astute in those matters and can catch them in a blink of the eye.

So i call this morning and they can't find any application submitted online Ugh (So thinking here we go again right?). Ok so i get transferred over to another Dept (The classic hand off cut right like in football ya know?) a nice lady picks up and says that she doesn't see anything in the system either and asked if i would like if she stayed on the line while i resubmit it again. I did and at the SUBMIT press it errors out. (Oh Boy Ugh again).

She then asks if i would like to apply over the phone but it might take up to 30 minutes. Absolutely, why not right? been getting absolutely nowhere with the online app try with 2 different browsers. So we both did our thing on the line and at the completion said i would be receiving something in the mail in 5-7 days. She told me that whether approved or other that on their end they don't see that.

So whatta ya all think about this one? I can be a fairly patient guy so don't really mind waiting but is there something else anyone might suggest to get some sort of a status update from today's phone application? If so i'll call in.

I must say i felt relieved that this girl was nice enough to stayed and followed with me throughout the whole ordeal and seemed very helpful but as is been always the result in some posts, what do you do next? Smiley Surprised
