BBVA mailer

I got the prequal mailer yesterday and went ahead and applied but got the dreaded review message. I am wondering if I got the prequal by mistake because of my location or if this is a common thing they do. My scores are 738 Exp 711 Eq and unsure of T.U fico but fake is 712. Utilization is 2% have a rather low a.a.o.a. It's been almost two days since I applied. Do they reach as far as Indiana?

Not sure of the demos, but if they sent you an invitation you should be eligible.

I got instant approval, my DH did not, his took about 5 days then he got welcome email.

Re: BBVA mailer

You’re good to go if you want the card. I’d be willing to bet you’ll get it too. Could this be the start of round two for BBVA??

Re: BBVA mailer

Not sure of their geographic footprint.  I live in Nevada and received several mailers.  I finally gave in and applied last month with an instant approval.  They pulled Experian.  From what I have seen, those on the forums who receive mailers have been approved.

Re: BBVA mailer

You don’t have to be in their footprint to be approved with a mailer, only without one.

I have heard of one BBVA mailer denial here so these seem to be pretty solid offers.

I had a LOT more than 5 when I received the pre-approval and subsequent approval, so no it shouldn't trigger a denial by default.
