BP Visa App...should I?

4 new cards from 04/30/2015. No baddies of any kind 1359/2000$ on my Citi card. Overall utilization is 9% Inqs in the past 6 months Eq:4, Trans:7, Ex:7 Look at siggy for current limits. Credit history is 1 year. Scores: Eq:715, Trans:722,Ex:707. I would loooooove a Bp Visa Signature because all we have around my area is BP stations!

Meh, if you want it, I'd say you should be okay. Somewhat high inqs on TU and EX, but really I doubt underwriting for this card would be that strict. Having said that, I don't have it, so who knows. As long as you are sure you will get good use out of it, go for it.

Re: BP Visa App...should I?

I have it but was approved for a visa platinum with them tu fico 720s at the time. i havent seen anyone on here talk of having the signature bp visa i feel like. I see it at the gas station though on the pamphlet lol.

26.9 apr, not a card to ever carry a balance on. and its gas rewards, nothing too exciting unless u really buy a lot of bp gas. if u dont, the appeal of this card goes away realllllly fast lol.

Re: BP Visa App...should I?

Well i have it and it's relatively simple to be approved for but the starting limit is not so hot. Mine is $1500 (current lowest) but after all it is Synchrony and next month looking for a first bump up on it.

On the plus side, and the reason that i even went for it myself is it's pretty nice to insert your card (after x amount of spend first 90 days anyway) at BP and watch your price per gallon drop like a rock down to 1.25 and lower or whatever up to 20 gallons (i have an SUV). Work this card over the first 90 days and you'll save like mad on BP Fuel Only anyway.

After 90 days the bonus off per gallon drops off of course but it's still can be useful for other micellaneous odd and end spending if you get the Visa version. Just PIF and don't carry a balance because it's a whopper APR Smiley Very Happy
