Current Fico Scores (9/2016):EX: 674 EQ: 678 TU: 689

Re: BT Card?

How much balance are you looking to transfer?  The problem is, they may approve you but not for the amount you are seeking.

My fear as well. I was going to BT aroung $1,500 - $3,000 depending on the limit I recieved.  I don't need a $500 BR Card!  Man LOL

Re: BT Card?

I would be concerned about getting a decent credit approval period with that high of a utilization rate. It doesn't help to BT if the interest rate is worse than what you are already paying plus a BT fee.

Starting Scores: September 2015 minus 500 across the board
Current Scores: October 2017 EQ: 715 TU: 710 EX: 716
In My Wallet:
Cap1 QS: $4.8K - AMEX BCP: $4.2K - Old Navy Visa: $7K - Nordstrom $3.8K - VS $500 (FTW!)
BofA AU: $12K AMEX AU: $25K
Business: AMEX BCP $15K

Re: BT Card?

Try LendingTree. SP pre-approval and youll know your loan amount before you sign. Plus, with a personal loan, your scores might go up

Re: BT Card?

Doubt you'll find anything that will help based on your scores/utilization. Fix your budget and get it paid drastically down and options for the remaining owed may become available to you.

For a lot of folks (including myself once upon a time) moving the $$ around at this stage just creates more issues with debt.

Do you have any baddies? If yes, what are they and how old?

Only baddies are on EQ two paid tax liens that are 5 years old. The other two bureaus are clean.

Re: BT Card?

Have you tried getting the liens removed? If they don't follow the new rules, which I doubt they would, I would take steps to have them removed. I would look at your local CU or some of the other CUs mentioned here. I think they'll be the only ones to overlook/understand your utilization. If denied initially, you can recon and more than likely find someone sympathetic.
