Hey MyFico Family,
It's been a minute since I posted. Closed on my Navy Fed 5/5 ARM mortgage Feb 28th and as happy as a clam! But boy did I rack up some CC debt since then with improvements and the like.
Anyway, the hunger for more has reached it's peak so I was thinking of apping for the VENTURE card seeing as all that's happening. MyFico scores are as follows
EX: 709 TU: 718 EX: 716
Income: 10k/month
Check out my siggy for the current cards I got and my UTI is sitting at 18.26% across all cards.
Let me know if you have any input if I would get approved and keep in mind my BK Discharge of 01-09
Thanks for any help!
It's great to be back as a homeowner once again!
Regards,
Slim
my score was around 680 when i applied for venture 2 months ago. when that 10k popped up i about fell on the floor ;-)
almost forgot.. my bk was discharged nov.of 13
Think your liklihood of approval is high. You should go for it! You can try the prequal first to see what they say.
prequal is exactly what i used too.

The pre-qual site says I have nothing coming! Tells me to app for the CapOne Classic!
Oh well
Go for it!

Based on your scores and limits I don't think you have anything to worry about, just determine if the card fills your needs and will serve a purprose. Good Luck on your decision.

Congrats on being a homeowner ... again
Maybe focus on paying the 22k in debt you have before worrying about getting another card.
It's great to have a diverse portfolio with lots of rewards, but when you are paying interest, the rewards don't even come close to offsetting.
Just my 2 cents.
