What is the best balance transfer card out there ?

Citi offers quite a few BF cards and Boa I hear has some nice ones also , and of course Chase . Oh and Cap one was offering bf 0 percent for the first 9 mths on Qs1

Chase slate is 0% for 15 months but generally a low SL. BoA BBR is 0% for 12 months. Some of the Credit Unions have decent offers if you happen to be (or are eligible to be) a member.

In my case Comenity offered 0% for 18 months with only a 1% BT fee but these are on existing accts.

Penfed and Navy have good offers it seems. My Citi Dc is now offering, and i absolutely love my Boa BBR card for the constant and easy to use Bt offers

Also Barclays has good offers from time to time. Right now they offered me a 1% transfer no interest for 12 month or 3% transfer no interest for 18 month on the Arrival+

My new Discover It card is offering 0% APR on balance transfers for the first 14 months, so I'm cogitating on whether I should move some balances from my other cards there once it's activated.

Sorry to hijack here...I agree Slate is a good option.

Does anyone know how long it takes to transfer a balance from Amex to Chase CC? I initiated it on Monday, it still isn't showing under pending. I know from Chase to Barclay it took like 3 weeks.

About $900...at least I learned here that Penfed is a good option for BT, never thought to look at them for this.

I mean that for the OP, so we could direct them to a lender who would offer suitable SL.

For Chase though BT's take 5-10 days total, so no worries on the 3 week thing.
