Starting Score: 640My new Discover It card is offering 0% APR on balance transfers for the first 14 months, so I'm cogitating on whether I should move some balances from my other cards there once it's activated.
Sorry to hijack here...I agree Slate is a good option.
Does anyone know how long it takes to transfer a balance from Amex to Chase CC? I initiated it on Monday, it still isn't showing under pending. I know from Chase to Barclay it took like 3 weeks.

About $900...at least I learned here that Penfed is a good option for BT, never thought to look at them for this.

For Chase though BT's take 5-10 days total, so no worries on the 3 week thing. ![]()
