TU CK 641
I have 9 open accounts, One with 5 missed payments from over 2 years ago rest all Paid as Agreed no lates
1 closed derog from 2011
1 collection from 2013 Reports as open?
21 inqs
I applied for them about a 2 months ago and was denied but since then have had an account removed from TU Report ( TOday actually) and I really want another credit card before I sit in the garden for a while.
What do you think the odds are? Make decent income if that matters.
Odds aren't good from what you have posted. Pull your true fico scores for a $1 from credit check total. That way you atleast know where you stand. Garden for 6 more months.
Barclay's specifically pulls transunion. How does that profile looks? Inq? They are inq sensitive.
I had couple baddies, but several revolving accounts, car payment with no late, majority of the accounts less than 6 months old, and all accounts paid as agreed, 1% utilization, and i got denied online, got approved after a recon phone conversation. The same day in the evening i applied for Apprle Rewards card and got instant approval for double the SL of the Rewards MC. You may have a better chance with the Apple rewards card, and then wait a few months and ask them to convert it to rewards MC. Either way, great company to join. Best customer service i've ever seen. Period. I got approved in the morning and had my card in my hand the next day early am.
And they pull TU. My score was 641 according to them at the time they pulled it.
Those 21 inq are not sitting well. However, I was approved for the Rewards card with a 638 tu score. I think if I was you I would garden some more and give it some more time. You don't want to keep dropping your score from inq.

They aren't going to like your baddies or your inquires with the score you have. It's an uphill battle OP take care of those first.
I was declned with a TU of 684. I had too many fresh (they were 4.5 months old) inquiries and new accounts.
Note - I apped for the Barclay's NFL card.
