Barclays - recon limit of $9k?

I have been given denials for this card a couple of times in the past. For whatever reason I decided to apply for it tonight; I think it may have been the adult beverages. Anyway, I was instantly approved for $9000, which is great, but doesn't match some Of the higher limits on some of my other cards. Is this something that I should recon? Or just take it as a sign of goodwill?

$9k is actually really good for a Barclays SL...I would let it be.

You can recon but it will be a HP.

Lenders aren't just going to match other lenders because you have a certain limit on another card.

Let it be.. It looks like you have around 30k credit with Barclay's across two cards now?  That is pretty dang good for them.  They aren't known to want to be top giver out of all your lenders.  They look at total exposure much like many other lenders do and you have close to 30k with them.  Obviously you can move some of your limit from your Arrival+ to it if you would like they would do that with a SP or no pull at all.

I agree that is a great haul with them. Like CC said recon is SP, but I'd leave it be. U have a good amount to work with and they are tricky sometimes
