Use the app. Everything works wonderfully.

I have the card myself SL 7500. I really like the card and love the rewards, And find their site easy to navigate.
I was just curious if they did instant approval which it appears they do.
Yep, they definitely do... my approval was instant as well ($10k).
I will say it was the strangest online application I've dealt with. It was the only time I've been asked for my DL#, then the processing stopped to send a text to my phone in real-time - while the approval was in process.
Hopefully your DH will hear good news soon!
Yep, same here. Got a mailer with code and app'd last weekend, instant approval for $6100 and it asked for DL# and sent text to confirm my phone. I haven't received the card yet but have the account all set up online and even picked my reward categories, 3% groceries & 2% medical. I'm hoping the 3% groceries works at my Walmart as it codes as grocery except for Amex, and I spent 5 days in the hospital last week so I'm expecting a bunch of co-pays. (All AOK now, Afib, irregular heartbeat)

Oh yes we put in his drivers license and they sent text to his phone which we verified but then got message it needed further processing hmmmm.
Did you input the pre-qualification code & verify it during the app? The mailers with pre-qual code seem pretty solid.

Yes we did , that's why I was a little suprised after inputting drivers licrnse and verifying a text code to phone they still have to review, but maybe it's needs manual review for a reason although our profiles are almost identical?

We sent an email asking if there was anything we needed to do for verification. They reply it can take up 10 calendar days for a review 😞 this doesn't sound promising 😕
This is so weird! BBVA usually seems pretty quick.... still holding out hope for an approval!
My Clear Points card arrived, just a week after approval. And also a separate letter that had my credit scores, and was very strange. Two pages, that read:
Your credit score: 716 Source: Experian Date: 3/30/2019
Your credit score: 667 Source: Experian Date: 3/30/2019
A slight difference, eh? I was totally confused until I looked at a bar graph at the bottom that details a percentage of how many folks have a certain range, The first page w/716 score says "Fico" and the second says "Vantage 3.0". Aha! I have no idea what my EX Vantage score is and don't care, but both my EX service, Discover, and Amex say my EX Fico 8 score is 722 and has been since January. So I have no idea what version of Fico BBVA is using.

Yes I thought so too, but I guess we shall see
I have a pre-approval now...but not really interested...yet.
