Do you have yours ARS or IDA frozen? Blispay and BBVA use this to verify identity. BBVA doesn't use it if you apply in branch with ID and another card with your name on it

As far as I know, I do not have any thing frozen. I did not request any of my reports to be frozen.

Re: Blispay - Unable to Verify

This problem has nothing to do with frozen reports and everything to do with Blispay simply having a poor system in place when it comes to verifying ID.

Re: Blispay - Unable to Verify

Just now I got email from Blispay that my application is approved and the card is being mailed and in the mean time I can start using the digital card. I guess we need lot of patience when we are dealing with Blispay. They have been very good and courteous when we call their credit department about the status. They assigned a credit limit of $1000 to start with. Did any one had luck with getting a CLI from them? How often do they give CLI's? Is it a hidden trade line or do they report to CRA's. If it is going to report, I wnat to limit the charges and  dont want the card report as maxed out.

Blispay does not give CLIs.  Not a single one has ever been reported.  Your $1000 SL will be your CL possibly forever.  I was really hoping that when Blispay had it's 1 year anniversary last month that a few people would start chiming in that they received CLIs, but no luck.

Blispay reports to only Experian.  On TU and EQ it will be a hidden trade line.

Thanks for the information. I guess it is what it is and have to deal with it. Still 2% cash back and 6 month no payment/no interest is lot better than PayPal Credit I have now. After the promo Interest at 19.9% rate is not bad either. We will take one day at a time and see, Thank for your help and support on the forum.

Re: Blispay - Unable to Verify

True.  If we all sit tight there's of course a chance that one day Blispay will start handing out CLIs.  For me, that's really my only constraint to using the card.  It's not so much that my limit isn't big enough, it's just that I for some reason feel more comfortable using my higher limit cards.  When I first got Blispay I thought that it could possibly become my daily driver.  It never did though.  On top of that, I've only used it once for the special financing... and I paid that off in 1-2 cycles anyway since I'm always a PIF type of guy.  For me, it's a card that in retrospect I probably didn't really need, but it would be useful for that "rainy day" when I had to drop $4k-$5k that I knew I needed several months to pay off.
