If I request a CLI then apply for a credit card after I request the CLI will it be the same pull?

It worked out like that for me last month, but I would put this in the 'YMMV' category, at least without more data points.

Sometimes yes. I requested a CLI on my BBR a week ago, and immediately got hit with a TU hard pull. 

A few minutes later, I decided to test the two for one HP theory, and applied for the 123 Visa. I didn't get it, but there was no other HP on EX (which they're known to do), or TU.
