Unfortunately BoA rarely budges from initial decisions these days. If you've already given recon a try, it's unlikely the decision will change.
With 85k in debt sitting on a card it's going to be hard to get approved for anything to be honest. Even though you have now paid it off, the huge balance and payments tend to raise flags.
