I'm a BoA customer (and have been for 18 years). Have their Travel Rewards card and am considering applying for their Cash Rewards card.
Anyone know if the bureau they pull changes if you're already a customer?
[I ask because my TU profile is in decent shape and can take the hit; EX, not so much.]
EQ | 850 | 2 INQ (Auto, Mort) | 7y4m |
EX | 850 | 6 INQ (2 CC, 2 mort, 2 auto) | 7y |
TU | 850 | 1 INQ (CC) | 6y8m |
3/24 | 1/12 | AoYA 10m | AoOA 24y2m | ~1% |

Although YEMV, and depending on region (or if primary CBR unavailable), BOA will still lean on EX for new applications regardless if an existing customer.
An alternative would be if you have an existing BOA CC and request a CLI (if eligible), which then TU is primarily used, then you can leverage the same TU pull for the new CC application. So as long as it's done within 30 days.
