Unfortunately I'm not within Regions area.
Your other option is, if you have any 1.99% BTs laying around and a 2% CB card.
Buy what you need with the 2% CB and then transfer to the 1.99% BT CC.
I might do this myself using Limitless 2.5% CB and then transfer the balance to a US bank business BT at 1.99% with 0% for 15 months . 😉

I just did exactly this last week with my BoA PR card @2.625% CB to my NFCU CR @1.99% 12 mo.
It's a useful trick too if you're SUB chasing ![]()
I'm actually thinking I may just do the PNC Points Card or the Core Card. Neither is quite as appealing as the Cash Rewards but I think I may like it better than BoA.
I've had PNC for some time now, and felt the PNC card was 'eh' and usually a lower limit. I personally think that if you're hoping for a long term relationship with a high growth rate, that alone would make me say BOA. However, if you value the banking relationship and just having a card regardless of limit growth over time, PNC is never a bad choice, I love banking with them. They tend to CLI in smaller increments compared to BOA that's for sure

I knew you'd chime in and this is what I expected lol. I just don't like BoA nearly as much, though I suppose that's plenty of reason of take their money and pay it back when I want.
BofA would be worth pursuing if you want a selectable 3% category card and can possibly fund an account with enough to be eligible for the Preferred Rewards multipliers (25%, 50%, 75%). Cash Rewards and Premium Rewards would be a nice daily driver set to roll with if gaining the multipliers were to be an option for you. (Merrill account would work too)
As an aside, when I was denied for a cash rewards, the letter emphasized not having an existing account, as did the CSR when i reconned. So if you want to boost your approval odds, grab $1500 and put it in an Advantage Plus checking account.

The PNC cash rewards is a really good card. I've had mine since this past November. 4% gas, 3% restaurants, 2% grocery. Matches my spend nicely.
Anxiously awaiting my 6 month mark so that I can request a CLI. They value relationship. I've been banking with them since March 2019. Starting limit for me was $12,500.
PNC is on my short list to apply for one day.
