Ok.. so last week I app. for penfed ..2cards...Barclay's cash forward...nfcu gorewards...Discover...venture one..all approved instantly with the exception of nfcu and venture one....WELL I pulled the trigger on Chase Disney. .just because. ..and was denied not for inquiries but for BK..it will be 2yrs in july...well after reading where someone recon 5× I said what the heck. ..I recon twice and was approved for 1k...I was fortunate to talked to a very nice gent the first time and an even nicer young lady the second time who told me to call back in 5 days...I waited 2 days and was told I had been approved 2 days earlier. ...yay me...#GOCHASE #FOOTNDADOOR

The 5/24 rule has nothing to do with inquiries. It is based on new accounts, and none of your recent approvals would be showing in your reports yet.

Not only that but the Disney card is not under the 5/24 rule.

Cool...but I have app for more than 5 cards in the last 24 month's as well as they did ask me about the recent inq..are there any more cards that are not under the 5/24???

Congrats. I do believe the 5/24 didn't come into play for the reasons given by Captool and Irish. But, you got approved, which is important. Now, I would lay very low if you plan on keeping the card. Chase will eventually notice the new accounts and have been known to react.

I have heard about them pulling cc after approvals. ..they were the last ones I apped for....either way. ..thanks...off to the garden I go via DISNEYLAND. ..
