Being the QS is from a QS1 if anything like my first Cap one..its not going to grow. You'll have to app for a newer card and consolidate, SD it or close it out. My original QS never received a CLI in the 8 years I had it. So I grew it myself with other Cap one cards and consolidations. It was $1100 for 8 years! lol

That same QS is now $49,500 after a year of finding another way to skin that cat.

The Citi DC is a tough one!  You'll probably have to take a HP to get it to move..it's been stuck at that limit so long.

What are your scores?

Your scores are great! Yes..you can consolidate. You can roll either the QS into the Venture or the other way around. The Venture needs to be at least 6 months old in order to consolidate. Also the card you are rolling over can't have a balance for 30 days. Its been a while since I did this. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong on that part.

For the Citi with your scores, I'd just take the EX pull and shoot high! There are no guarantees, but worth a shot to get it up to a usable limit for you.

Re: CL

If at the time you were approved for your CO card your scores were under 650 or so, your chances of growing the card are next to none regardless of having great credit scores currently.  CO doesn't care about how much you've improved your scores, they just care that your account was opened under less than good terms.
