CLI Question

Hello and Happy February!  Just applied for Care Credit and was approved, but wish to try to cli the amount, as my proceedures will be (sadly) more than that. Is it too soon to call now or should I wait a day?  Thank you in advance; can't tell you how helpful this forum is !

You can call now. However, CareCredit does hard inquiries so you may see two pulls from them.

Ugh...another HP even though the approval was like half hour ago?  That seems ludicrous.  Thank you for your reply though

If it's that recent then who knows. But from what I've read, and my experience, CareCredit is all about Hard pulls.

Do let us know what happens! And if it's hard or soft.

i have seen that care credit is HP even if you just got approved 10 seconds ago. you can try, but as stated, expect the additional HP

Typically, if you call back within 24 hours, the request for a CLI can still be honored without a 2nd HP.  This can vary for everyone since you could still get hit with another one (it's happened before) + no guarantee if they will approve the CLI.
