I think I have officially lost my marbles. Ive tried to get some love from my accounts for MONTHS. Nothing but denials. I am sure it is because of my scores. They have slowly risen since June but this is rough. Especially with the holiday season approaching I wanted to make a large purchase.
My most recent CLI app was Kohls. The reason they denied me is because of my score but the score listed is not my current score... this is not the first time kohls has denied me for having a score of 610 which I never had to begin with. Can anyone tell me where they are getting this score from? Its states they check experian. Is it just a bs reason? Has this happened to anyone else?
What is keeping your scores low? The reasons they cite on the declined letters should provide some guidance on things that need to be improved. It's more than just the score alone.
One of the hardest things when trying to rebuild or build your credit is patience. Certainly understandable and I was guilty of that during my rebuild. In our minds it feels like a race, but it takes time.
The score that you mentioned they gave you catches my attention. The scores you are comparing that you must have, are they Fico 8 scores? I'm seeing your siggy shows you have a 604 Experian score.
