I've had Discover since college freshman year with a CL = 500, never received a CLI for >4 years. Lucky
wow!
@Anonymous wrote:Just called them ,they are unavaliable now .However , the CLI button didn't ask for the amount that I want to increase !!!! it asked for the income and monthly rent appartment then I clicked submit
Yes they changed the CLI page, now they have fewer questions. When you clic the first page it will show a second screen, that screen will either say that your CLI is under review, confirm information, or that they need to pull your credit report and provide a phone so they can reach you if needed, then you can cancel or continue with the HP.
If you got the 2 days review after the first screen, it should be SP. They will decide the amount they can give you. I see someone only got $500 but other person $3000.
Good luck.
For the first time since opening the account, I was actually able to submit a CLI request via the website.
Input salary and housing and ...
Nope sorry we have to pull your credit.
My score via Discover as of 01/03 is 809.
No thanks guys.

It's 14 months old.
I took a HP for a CLI back in September I think and got $500. I was not amused.
I too got one of those lame $500 HP increases and the card will remain in the SD for who knows how long. It's a good card i'd use more if the limit was more like 2 or 3k. Third oldest card and one i put a lot of my spending on too moreso than most cards i have.
I've tried a couple times recently, wanted hard pull. I'm going to wait until the next update of the TU Fico they provide and see what happens. Current one is from late last month.
I must have gotten lucky. I got a 2k SP CLI last week
I sent them message yesterday asking to cancel my request if its hard pull so they cancelled my request .

Wow, I'm impressed with Discover. Got a call from them this afternoon asking if they should go ahead and do a HP for a CLI. Nice gal. I told her that I don't want another pull right now and will wait a few months and try again. While I had her on the line I asked which bureau it would be from, and the answer was TU. Good thing I said no, they have the most inquiries out of the three.
