They were my first card years ago when I started. They seem more lenient then others, they are not prime cards and likely won't give you a good limit. But unfortunately, with fair credit and limited history they are your best bet, before capital one quicksilver

Credit History: Started this month, so almost no credit history
I have Discover students card with 1500 credit line.
Need: Good credit line credit card, to pay my fees (around $1300)
Currently Masters level student (industrial management), about to graduate: Would surely pay the debt within 6-8 months
Not a US citizen/Permanent Resident.
Got denied for few major credit cards ( they needed better scores/Perm residency).
Please help! I won't be getting my degree if I don't pay the fees.
Your best bets are Capital One, and Barclays Rewards. If you've applied for those and been denied, then you should just wait.

It shows me that I am pre-qualified for 3 credit cards. I got declined for two of them. Last option is Capital One quick silver, $39 annual fee, 0 APR till July 16. But I am scared now.
Apply for Quicksilver!

Not sure if this has been asked but if you're a student have you tried other student cardsn(Cap 1 Journey I believe) ? Just curious, you probably have and if so then I would take the advice on utilization and waiting while you're score and history gets to a better place. Good luck!
