First of all, I think you would be approved for the CSP.

Second of all, make sure you can reach the spend bonuses for any cards you may app for. Some people may have trouble meeting the CSP spend of $4k in 3 months alone. Throw in another one or two thousand dollars for the PRG & ED and all of a sudden you have to meet $6k in three months to get the respective bonuses. And if you miss a bonus or two, it would totally blow, especially an AMEX bonus as you can only get those once per lifetime.

Good luck and let us know the limit you receive on the CSP! Smiley Wink

Lol ya when I got my CSP it just so happened I had my Delta and ED bonus I was chasing, so 6k.. Had a 2k bill that came up which I wasn't expecting which made it a bit easier, but planning when to app is key and important as you mentioned.

Re: CSP Approval Odds

Yeah, I should clarify for you guys that I'm not apping for Amex, was only telling you that I'm prequalified for those cards so you can get an idea of my full credit profile. I figure if I'm prequal for those cards I should have a better shot at CSP.

Re: CSP Approval Odds

How do you check your pre-quals?

Re: CSP Approval Odds

I will post separately in the approvals board, but I just applied and was accepted instantly! $6,000 limit and the card is on the way!

I'd like to also app for the Chase Freedom -- if I apply for that card today, will they use the same credit pull? Or will I get double-pulled?

Congrats!!  When I applied for my Freedom, I applied a few hours later for the CSP and they used the same pull.  It was a double pull for the Freedom (TU and Experian), but they did not repull for the CSP.  FYI -  I am sure that the double pull was for the one card as I get alerts right away on both before I even apped for the CSP.
