Do I have a good chance at a CSP approval, or should I wait?
-Currently at 4/24 with cards.
-Not sure if car loans count towards 5/24 but we did take out a $34k loan (Subaru Outback) at 3% apr last March, currently down to $28k.
-Newest approval being Synch Adorama card 2/19/23 for $2k. Currently $930 balance on the card. 12 month 0% apr that I'm taking advantage of currently on a camera.
-Scores hovering around 740-753 on all 3 bureaus. 4 inq on EX. 2 on EQ 1 on TU.
-5% usage across my cards, which has gone down as I paid 50% of a balance on one of my other cards. (Hasn't reported yet).
-Avg age of accts 2yrs 1 month.
-No baddies of last month.
I DID however burn Chase in 2008 for like $300. Stupid, I know. I was 18 and making dumb financial choices. Never paid them. Hasn't been on my reports for a long time. But I know Chase has a long memory.
Any thoughts/info appreciated!
The car loan doesn't count towards 5/24. The only thing that's not in your favor is burning Chase back in 2008, since the bank does have a long internal memory. Even though that baddie fell off your credit report, Chase will remember. You're just going to have to apply and see what happens.
@Adkins pulled the trigger and bam! Instantly approved for $8.4k at 25.24% apr!

Congrats on the approval! I have similar scores but I may need to get some more age before getting approved for Chase's Visa Signature cards

Thanks @Priory_Man!
@Mones hey you never know! I was immediately expecting a denial. Thank you!
Very Nice! Even Chase realizes the difference between being 18 and 33 is usually huge when it comes to financial responsibility.
Congrats on your approval! This thread is locked to new replies now, but please feel free to continue your discussion in Credit Card Approvals.
