I was thinking of getting the CSP for my 3rd personal card but I want a $15K + CL or else it won't end up becomming main card. I like to keep my utilization really low. Here's what I have now:
BofA travel rewards: $18K
Amex BCP $25K
Chase Ink Plus $21,500
I've had the BofA forever (should prob ask for a CLI) but I just recently got the Amex and Chase. My EX FICO is currently 752, but it was 812 when I applied for the Amex and 780 when applying for the Ink card. My AAoA dropped a lot and so did my score. I have no negitives whatsover on my credit report.
So I'm guessing that Chase will give me a relatively low credit line because my score is lower now and they have already extended credit to my Ink Plus . In the pre qualified check, they offered all of their cards but the CSP has a 20.24% APR. I always pay but that seems like a bad sign.
Anyway, anyone have a CL prediction?
Thanks!
They actually offer a range of 16.24% (15.99 + .25) – 23.24% as of like a week ago on the CSP. I'd venture to say 12k SL. Just a shot in the dark.
Thanks for the feedback. Is there anyway to negotiate a credit line after you're approved? Tell the analysist that I want it to be my primary card but need a bigger line?
I was approved for 16.6k before they went to a range of APRs. I attempted to get an increase at activation to no avail. I had a previous relationship for 3.5 years also. Never hurts to try though.

16.50 apr , with your score , I would guess 18-22k. With Chase you can sometime recon the limit at card activation via phone. Mine is 15.94 , but that's was before the Fed raised interest rate....
I'm pretty sure it will go up on your next statement pacman, mine did. I have never heard of anyone reconing the CSP, but I suppose it's possible. I had just apped for my Discover 3 months before I apped for CSP/Freedom combo so my scores hadn't rebounded yet. I wish I had wated to get a better SL. I let 5/24 scare me into action when I should have waited it out. oh, well.
CSP is now a range of APR's based on creditworthiness? hrmmmm, It has always "one size fits all" at 15.99% (16.24).

It's all a moot point on the APR unless you plan on carrying a balance.

I feel like most of us here are like that, yet people always seemed obsessed with APR. I have one card that I would possibly carry a balance on in case of an emergency, and that is the simmons first with 6.25%
