No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
It seems like an overly strict rule to me, but Chase is not the only game in town.
OP I understand being annoyed with people sticking up for banks here. Take that same conversation outside this forum though, and we will find lots of people to join in the bank bashing
In this case though I think it would be fair to be equally mad at the CC churners which somewhat forced the banks to become more strict. Something along the lines of a few bad apples spoil the bunch...
It sucks and I cant even imagine how frustrated you are getting denied with your credit profile. But there are plenty of other banks that would love your business.
Have a good weekend!
I didn't read this whole thread but, 2 weeks or 30 days usually means approval. I recived my freedom as one of my first cards with no fico score, But I apped in branch and had the special consideration form filled out as well for having a balance over 10k. Good luck to you and I hope this turns out to be an approval !

Darn! So what do I do? Call back or wait til they call me back?
as much as people say what ever you do don't speak to the lending department at chase, I did multiple times and my app turned out fine. If it is just verification I would call the app status line and speak to someone and see what they say. They'll transfer you to either verification or lending. its up to you if you chose to speak to them though. People say the lending department is harsh at chase but from my experience I have nothing but nice things to say.
Just to beat a dead horse...just because. If they find that 5/24's have burned them(or something around that), then it's just not smart business. Some people ruin it for everyone and i'm sure that's rpobably what happened here. If they would make 1$ allowing 5/24, and rejecting 5/24, they'll still only make $1...but save .50...its worth it.
Also to clarify, when you originally apped, if you were geting all these prequalifiers, did you use a prequalifier? If so i think you're the first i've seen to be rejected.
