I have a question about what i recieved in the mail. Chase sent me this nice envelope with a bunch of info about the CSP and an application for me to fill out and send back. The only thing is that nowhere does it say "preapproved" so im not sure if its just a promotional thing or not...although it does say "mail your invitation". if this is this is a preapproved mailer, how solid are Chase's preapprovals? im not sure if id get denied or not for the CSP

Well now we don't get much info on mail pre-approval and since the APR won't tell us much since it's one rate
Key indicator of the offer being good would be............drum role pls
Does it contain the opt out notice? If so I would say odds are high if not TRASH it and check for online pre-approvals (check anyway) Lol
Go on the Chase pre-qual site and see if an offer pops up.

denied. i got the message saying it was under revfiew so i called recon and the guy reviewed my application and then told me that i dont have a high enough annual income for the card because the card has a minimum $5,000 CL. I asked what the minimum income is and he said there is no set number........so to me that makes no sense. He tells me that i dont make enough, but then says that there is no minimum number as a cut off for the card. I then politley explained that i have a discover it card with a 5k limit and an amex card with a 12k limit, all he had to say was that he could not offer credit advice and that i could re apply at any time. what a waste of an app

Call again, sometimes talking to a different person would help, explain you had the card come up on the prequal screen, give it a shot. Chase's pre-qual offers are usually pretty accurate, rare it turns someone down. What is your income if you don't mind me asking?

i put down 25k on the app
For having $25,000.00 income, you're already doing pretty good with the cards you have. That might be too low for chase for a CSP, I don't know. Call anyway and give it another shot.
