Go on the Chase pre-qual site and see if an offer pops up.

I just checked, it does! does that mean im most likely going to get accepted since im pre qualified?!

yes,  go get the card   :]    chase is ususally rock solid outside of 5/24 rule

denied. i got the message saying it was under revfiew so i called recon and the guy reviewed my application and then told me that i dont have a high enough annual income for the card because the card has a minimum $5,000 CL. I asked what the minimum income is and he said there is no set number........so to me that makes no sense. He tells me that i dont make enough, but then says that there is no minimum number as a cut off for the card. I then politley explained that i have a discover it card with a 5k limit and an amex card with a 12k limit, all he had to say was that he could not offer credit advice and that i could re apply at any time. what a waste of an app Smiley Mad

that is a well known no-no.   never call chase for manual review.   if you don't call, the account will usually list in your portal in a couple weeks.    we just call the status line and get the 30 day, 2 week or 7-10 day message.

chase prequal is a solid computer approval.   never let a manual review mess it up.

+1 This....let it ride in the future. It seems to be the best way currently. Sorry OP.

Re: CSP Mailer?

that is unfortunate, but yeah next time don't call and see what happens. you can try to recon again, some pepole do it several times and get it without even being prequalified for the card! i have had some good chase recon people and some really bad ones. Call back. But if the second time its denied, then ya they want a higher income.
