Floating around the approval board, noticed a bit of a wave of CSP/CSR approvals and it's getting me antsy. It's a goal card for me, and I'm trying to garden a bit before trying for it. All these approvals makes me want to go for it.Especially with some of the thinner files getting approved.
Current situation is FICOs 730+ AoOA is 2.5 years, AAoA is 7 months. 2% uti on one card (already PIF, waiting on report), all others 0. I also opened a Chase checking account, only offer they gave me though was if I opened a checking AND savings and a high deposit, so no SUB for me.
Anyway, what would you say my chances are if I wait til the end of May, should bring AAoA to 9mo and currently 4/24. All info in sig is current. That CSP is tempting me...
How long ago did you get freedom unlimited?
That's one of my biggest concerns, I know Chase doesn't like throwing them out back to back. My CFU opened on Feb 1.
My advice would be to wait. It does not mean they would not approve it now, but if you do apply, you will get the 30 day thingy and from there it could go either way.
I'd wait at minimum 3 months. If you cant wait, the only way to find out is to apply.
If you wait till June, I dont think cold app will be an issue.
See if you can get CLI on that paypal to get it close to $5k.

Uh oh. The temptation is back and worse.I just made a post with a DP concerning my Chase checking account and suddenly a slate prequal showing up. Now a few hours later, my prequal slate has upgraded to the CSP with a fixed apr. I'm going to let it sit and marinate another month, see if it graduates from prequal to pre-approved.
What is the set APR rate they offered?

Pretty much suck, 25.24% which I think is the highest apr on the CSP. However, I always PIF anyway, so apr doesn't matter.
Congrats of the pre-qual, but I would wait until the APR is lower, even though you PIF.
Also, let one of your credit cards report a small balance. If they all report a 0 balance your score will decrease.
