From what I read to upgrade a regular Freedom to Visa Sig you need:
- Limit of $5000 or more
- 13 months with the card
Please correct me if i'm wrong, thanks!
I wonder if that means you need both, or since my CL is over $5k, that it will be automatic... Who knows. Just glad to have taken advantage of those pre-quals... Sometimes it takes me a while to get up the nerve to do some stuff lol. Thanks to everyone here who gave me the confidence to go fot it.

It could be transfer to Sig but you just have to show a good history i guess.
I wish Chase still offered the regular Sapphire card. I would have gone for that one instead just to avoid the annual fee. Perks were a little different but not by all that much.

Another point of reference...
I applied and was approved for the Chase Freedom this past Monday, July 20 with an SL of $20,000. I just received the card this afternoon and it is Visa Signature. There was no special box on the application page requesting a Signature. I do have a CSP (which by default is a Visa Sig) that I put a ton of spend on per month but I only got it last September (<1 year old).
I would imagine that the "rules" to obtain a Freedom Visa Signature might be an either/or situation.
Congrats on your new cards!

Tried to call Chase this morning and try to just switch my mailing address to get the cards shipped to a different address and the rep I got told me that he needed to call me back because it wouldn't let them access my account (maybe because I just got approved less than 12 hours before that)... Might have to call back tomorrow.
