Exact same thing happened to me to a T and also another person who app'ed under 21 on this form. Same timeline and messages too.

Called the app hotline this morning and she said I was approved! Checked my Chase app and there it was, approved for $7500 which is my largest limit.  Very happy, didn't have to verify or anything. Called to see if I could expedite the card and it's coming in 1-2 business days. Definitely will be a nice card along with my FU to earn some points.

I also app'd for CSP on 12-15-17 and got the 30 day message. I wonder if this is any indication that I would likely know about an approval/denial very soon...

I have had my Freedom with them since about March of this year and the CSP came up under my "Your Offers" with the green checkmark. We shall see. As of a couple minutes ago, I'm still getting the "You'll be notified in writing within 30 days of receiving your application" message.

Part of me wants to call, but I have read pretty consistently over the weekend that a lot of people recommend just "letting it ride out". Ugh. I have zero patience haha.

If it means anything, I called BOTH times, and spoke to people at two different numbers from Chase. Approved both times for FU and CSP. First lady said “its too early to see, you’ll just have to wait”, second one at the other number asked me some info about my other accounts with chase and then said I’d would have to wait for the letter in the mail and sign and return it to a T, since I’m under 21.

Good news is MyUPS says my card is coming tomorrow, didn’t have to do a thing!

I also pulled the trigger on 12/17, but applied for the CSR and got the 30 day message. I applied at the branch because the banker told me I was pre-qualified for the CSR. Don’t have any Chase cards, but a 6 y/o checking account. One 1.5x y/o (BofA Cashrewards $1600 CL). TU 734, EX 734, FICO 778. Called in this morning and the automated machine says still 30 days. Getting really anxious to call, but don’t want to seem desperate.
