Hi all, 

Just looking for some guidance on applying for chase saphire preferred. 

Moved to the US in early 2016 and have slowly bulit up my score to TU715, Eq 720. Started off with WF secured and have since added Discover It(4K), Amazon Store 5K, Cap1 QS 1100. Unfortunately have 7-8 HP on each due to a variety of factors getting set up in the US.

Previously denied for CSP in late November due to having low limits on my current cards. Since then, have been approved for Discover and a CLI on Amazon to 5K.Looking to get CSP due to a lot of travel coming up later in the year.

What was the reason for the first denial of the CSP?

"Limited history" was on the the letter. When I called the recon number they mentioned that since the starting limit for CSP is 5000 and the highest limit on my cards at that time was 1100, the declined it.

Then you should begood to go as long as you are within the 5/24 margin.  Update the thread with results should you go for it...
