@zerbherb wrote:the two declines from last month that i shouldn't have went for yet. Unrealistic second card. double pull citi and single from barclays, went for double cash and giants nfl. I am pretty sure thats my only red flag if even right now. my aaoa is 3 years including the crappy au card which i decided to sock drawer, for a while.
Ok. So correct me if I'm wrong you've had four recent declines did they give you a specific reason so we can use that to build an assessment. Also, the scores on your signature line are they fico scores or fako?
3 hard pulls 2 declines from last month. Sorry still getting used to the lingo. My scores are fico not fako they are up to date. As expected the reasons were to few accounts, and for some reason i also got to many accounts not paid as agreed which has to be from the AU card.

No worries we've all been there. We're all here to help with that said let's look at some factors. The known and the positive. If you know that your are an AU on an account that isn't in good standing that is a hindrance to your goals I would suggest removal, the good is you have a line with a prime creditor Disccover, I would target a lender who is more flexible like Capitol one for the purpose of building your profile, hold off from any of the other primes meanwhile your taking. A break you are reporting a good line with a Discover and aged you'll be ready for the next step during that time use. It as an opportunity to filter out which card REALLY fits your needs be selective you want to end up with cards that have both value and purpose.
All the best 👍
