Cap 1 CLI & Pre-Approval process changes?

I just noticed in the Cap 1 iOS app that there is no longer the option to request CLI on either of my cards.

 

Additionally I went through their pre approval application flow just hit me with a hard inquiry instead of a soft inquiry. I went through the preapproval check and after got the response but then Norton LifeLock alerted that Capital One hit my credit report.

 

Anyone have similar experiences or know what’s up?

You can still use the App to request a CLI. At the very bottom in the middle it says "help". That's ENO, the AI assistant. Just type that you want a credit line increase, choose the card you're wanting to use and ENO will route tou to the CLI request page. 

as far as the pre approval being a hard hit, that's not been my experience and I've used it recently. Always a soft pull for me.
