Cap 1 Venture app, is this normal?

Ive spent a lot of time reading various Venture threads and hadn't seen what I just had happen. Got a pre approval for Venture with 18% apr. spent the day thinking about applying or waiting. Decided to apply. Hit submit, it went through all the gyrations and checks. I got alerts from the various credit tracking tools I use, all stating TU credit inquiry just happened. Screen popped up and stated "You're approved! Your card will arrive in 7-10 days!" Gave no mention of credit limit. I received no email etc from Cap 1 with terms etc. What does this mean? Anyone ever seen similar? I tried to call in but the rep stated she needed to transfer me to new products or something similar. Once there, I got a message, "This department is currently closed, please call back 9am Eastern time next business day."

You'll get an email soon with your limit. Then a followup saying your card has shipped.

Is this your first CapOne card?

The credit limit will be revealed at some point, though on my Venture app, it was on the screen on the approval page.

If you already have other CapOne cards, I think this one will just appear in your account once you activate it, after you receive it.

I have 2 QS1s. I can't remember for sure what happened when I applied for those, but I have to leave bread crumbs to find my way home each day

You are approved!

Same thing happened when I was approved, the cl showed up on my online account. I had several cards before my Venture..

I just got approved for Venture last week. My initial CL was on the approval screen.

Already had a QS Siggy, logged in and my Venture was there right after approval.

However I did not get the Cap1 approval email until several days later..

Anyway you should be good to go.
