It's obvious that Capital One is flush with cash. And they are using that cash to grow. Now this is all conjecture and could be nothing more than squat? All they have to do now is retrain their Customer Service staff, decrease their overseas CS staff and upgrade their other product mix.
That part sounds so easy, but it will never happen with Cap1 imo... They would be wise to bring back their CSR to this country, but won't happen.
Imagine trying to call the back of your cap1 card for concierge service..Execuse me can you make me reservations at X restaurant.. They would be, like come again.. Try that on your CSP and they would do it

LOL, just trying to imagine that conversation just cracks me up. NO WAY I would trust a CapOne "concierge" with trying to book anything!

Stay strong as better things exist out there for those that wait! MyFico forums goes like this... Every approx 2-3 months a new flavor of the month credit card and/or offer is found and a frenzy happens, then it repeats ever 2-3 months.. This month happens to be Cap1.. two months from now, who knows what it will be
It's like a drug...and you want that high, you need it!
You stay on Myfico and read through the approval board enough and you'll be done for! That's what happened to me. I was reading the Venture approval thread and it bit me. So it shall be with you. lol
