Cap One A/R's

Can anybody explain my Cap One does an AR on me every month. I always PIF each month and never carry a balance on my two cards? They have done this for the last six months in a row. I'm kinda perplexed

If it's on TU it could be for your free Fico Credit score. I get them on the 1st of every month on TU, but I also get a bunch of others from them as well on EX and EQ. Sometimes 2-3 times per month.

Ya don't worry too much about it. They SP me (on all bureaus) like crazy some months, and other months only once. They still approve me for new cards and CLI so I'm not too worried about it.

Did you ever opt-out for pre-screened offers? Are you under 21? Did you get approved for one of their card within the last 30 days? Those are some common reasons that people don't get a pre-approved offer from them.

Oh and I forgot to add, if you try their online pre-qualifier that can cause a SP to appear on your credit report.

Yup I am over 21 and no cards from them in 30 days..oh well I will keep trying. Never opted out either

Hmm.. well at least you know they're SP'ing you so hopefully one of these days you'll get a pre-approval for a nice card. I'll have my fingers crossed for you!
