I have a Capital One Savor card with a $17,750 credit limit. It initially started at $10K, then increased to $15K. Later, I transferred $2,750 from my old Walmart Mastercard.
Today, I attempted to request a credit limit increase to $20K, but it was declined with the reason:
"A credit limit increase is currently not available upon request because Capital One is evaluating account activity at assigned credit limits."
This is the first time I've seen that reason, and I'm wondering if there's s anything I should be concerned about. Honestly, I don't use the card much; I just wanted to round out my limit. I also have two bucketed cards; a QS with a $3K limit and a VentureOne with $3,100—plus a Kohl's Signature Visa with a $4K limit.
you probably reset your CLI timer if your credit line reallocation happened recently
it's nothing to be concerned about, IMO
and it might be pretty difficult to draw water from this stone, to get another CLI from Cap1, partciualrly with low spend
hopefully you get it soon, would be nice to hit $20k

From the verbiage it would seem Cap1 wants you to put more spend through the card.
