Cap One CLI question..

I applied 6 months ago on August.

Do I wait the exact date (6 months) or is it based off of statements?

Re: Cap One CLI question..

6 months from the date the account opened or 6 months from the last CLI is whey you are eligible for a CLI.

Re: Cap One CLI question..

I think you can request first CLI after first 3 months. After that 6 months rule start.

I am not really sure but that's what I understand from CO FAQ;

Some accounts aren’t eligible for increased credit lines. Accounts that are usually ineligible:

  • Are less than three months old.
  • Have received a credit line increase or decrease in the last six months.
  • Even if your account does not meet either of these criteria, a credit line increase may still be declined for other reasons.

Re: Cap One CLI question..

I would STRONGLY advise trying for a CLI immediately - you may be enrolled in Credit Steps, which will give you an auto CLI at 6 months regardless of any prior CLI activity (and lock you out of further CLI's for another 6 months)
