Cap one apps just say processing! Never complete

2 weeks ago I pre qualified for the platinum so I did app. Stayed processing and finally timed out. Figured the site was having issues so I just let it go. Today I try again and pre qualify for QS1 so I app again...Same result, never completes process just stayed in processing mode!! Is this normal with Cap 1 ? I called the number on site but the recording says its after hours. I've never had a cap 1 card so I don't think I'm black listed...

I'm not sure. They will not pulled a new report on me .I get a denial and later they send a secure email stating because of past obligations with them but today is exactly 1 year since the charge off.

Last time they didn't pull a report nor did I ever get a denial, so far I haven't received an alert about any inquiries.

Well I get the denial but no pull I have 3 paid closed credit cards on my account from capital one with perfect payment .idk why there so mad at me about a 175 charge off which I'm paying them off 50 a month

If they didn't pull your credit the app never went through. CapOne is usually instant denial or approval.

Do you monitor your credit? Did they pull it?
If you don't sign up for credit karma (free) and see if they pulled your credit. They usually pull all 3.

If you don't see a pull... the application didn't go through and you can apply again

Ok, this time received alert for inquiry, called but I get the we're not open today recording, So I still don't know if approved or denied!!

OK. found back door # thread- QS1 with $500 CL. Pretty low but I guess its a start.

I'm sure you got credit steps too so in 5 mo it will be $750. You can have 2 cards too so App for another and then once you get the credit steps Increase on both new cards after 5 mo... combine them into the card you want the most. Then you'll have a decent limit. (This is what I did anyway)

Congrats on your approval. CapOne is a good company. They give ppl a chance and work with them and give steady and slow CLIs but at least they are pretty much guaranteed every 6 mo.
