Re: Cap1 Denied for Too many Inquiries?

Instead of just waiting 30days, I would recon the denial. There have been some who stated that their second denial wasn't really a denial when they spoke to the EO. It had something to do with a glitch in their system and the app didn't complete for some reason. Applying is the first step in app, if you get a denial, it doesn't hurt to recon and see if you can't get the approval. You've taken the HP and it doesn't hurt to do a little follow-up. If you want to do it with the same HP though, you need to get started now.

Good luck and keep us posted!

Re: Cap1 Denied for Too many Inquiries?

So is that the strategy to wait 30 days before applying for a new credit card? If so this is news to me bc I didn't know anything about it. And if this is true why do some suggest to go on an app spree?

They are talking about the same credit card. Not app spree. If you applied say for quicksilver. Got denied. When do you apply again. Simple. 30 days later. Not the next day.
