Cap1 Pre-Approval in App Now?

It could be that I just hit a threshold but I have never heard of Cap1 targeting Pre-Approvals in the phone app yet or in the account.

I have been getting preapprovals for the SavorOne through snail mail for about 6 months now and be prequalified in the usual place, but today I opened my Cap1 app to find the preapproval sitting on my home screen. Has anyone else experienced this?

And NO Cap! I don’t want it!!!

Hmmm That’s interesting. I never get pre approval with them but I’m not looking anyway.

They picked a good card to pre approve you for though.

Yes, I am an authorized user on my husband's Capital one Platinum card and he has a pre-approval on the app for a Quicksilver card. I have never seen it on any of my Capital one accounts 2 Quicksilver and Journey.

Yes I have had a savory pre approval that showed on my app a few months back. I wasn’t in the market for a savor so I didn’t apply, so I wouldn’t be able to give an opinion on if the odds were better while aping through you capital one app.

Looking through your existing cards I can't see any niche it could fill for you, unless they gave you some kind of SUB or interest-free period. I got it for the entertainment part. I just got back from a two night New York trip. Spent about ~500 on travel and hotel, $15 on food (thank you Amex platinum lounge and Uber Credit, and $680 on theatre. So it's a much more important category for me than restaurants, which it gets as well, but I barely use. (At home, I cook)

Yes! I also have pre-approved cards showing in my credit wise login as well.

Oh trust me, I am in the garden until my 5/24 curse fades until the end of 2020...  I'm only after those MRs and URs right now. I feel bad enough my awesome Disco doesn't get any spend.

I just don't hear much about offers in the Cap1 app. And considering I get an email and snail mail every two weeks for the card, I would have though I would have seen it in the app sooner.

I never seen anything in the app, but I get snail mail pre-approved for the Cap One Platinum with 26% APR once a month.

I never got either. I only had the pre-qual show up after logging out of my account.
