I asked for a cli and they said they will review. I got a letter saying this below. I'm assuming it's a denial. I only use it twice a month b/c it only has a 1k limit.
A credit limit increase is currently not available upon request because Capital One is evaluating account activity at assigned credit limits.
How long have you had the account?
Almost 2 years now. I may give up on this one.
That's a weird one, not sure if I've seen anyone post that specific one before. I just went back and reread their list of CLI denial reasons to see if that one was added with an explanation, but it wasn't. Wonder if you called CS if they would be able to elaborate further for you? If you think it's worth it to you to pursue let us know if you find anything out, and of course good luck!

@Anonymous
It means they dont think you're using enough of the current limit to be considered for a higher one.
Sounds like a Walmart card

I agree this is probably the root of the denial. It almost sounds like you're bracketed and can only get auto.
I recently got the same thing, I purposefully used the card almost to its limit, let it post with a 70% UTIL to show high use but they said they are reviewing it. I have no hope that it was approved at all.

Earlier last month when I tried, I got back just the: A credit limit increase is currently not available upon request.
Best I came up with trying to figure out what it meant, was posts with your verbiage. I actually had been using the card kinda heavily to try to get a CLI and that was the updated one. Now it's back to the inquiry non sense.
