I opened my Capital One QS1 on November 14, 2021. Since then, I've had 6 Statement, paid in full and still no CLI?
I figured after 6 Months (now 6 Months and 4 Days) I'd be eligible for an increase.
Starting Limit: $3,000.
Other DPs, my wife had gotten the Capital One Platinum on November 12, 2021 and received an Auto CLI of a $100 on her 6th Month Anniversary.
So apparently 6 Months isn't too new...
Yes after 6 months of consistent use they only offered a 250 increase but I declined it. I think with capital one you have to show high utilization on a consistent period to be eligible for a high credit increase good luck

They have to pick from an industry-wide standard boilerplate list of responses to give as reasons; if there isn't a response that exactly describes the reason(s) for denial they'll try to pick the response(s) that they think is/are the best/most appropriate one(s).
"Account Too New" could for example be what they felt was the best match for "you haven't used your card enough yet since you got it to justify a CLI"
I have a Capital One Quicksilver and a Platnium card almost 6 years and everytime I request a CLI I get denied because I dont use my card often or dont pay more than the minimum for both cards. I only charge $100-200 a month and pay off balance and still wont give me a big increase the most is $100. Never been late. I have other CC and within 60 days I have gotten generous increases.

I got shot down twice for CLI on my Quicksilver card. The same reason both times is my spending was too low to justify a CLI. Fair enough, i keep my utilization around 5%. C1 cards are notoriously low limit but they redeem themselves by letting me pay as i go. The very day i was denied a CLI I applied for the Savor card and was granted a $1000 credit limit. I made the above mentioned applications while being slow walked on the Wells Fargo Active Cash card. WF eventually approved me and granted me a $2500 limit. The dust eventually settled with my FAKOs dropping 21 points. Theyve since recovered.
The two main reasons you'll be denied a CLI from Capital One is you have a bucketed card or you aren't using the card enough. If you started as a non subprime borrower and use your card heavy, Capital One can be generous. In fact the majority of CLIs I've received from them have been auto CLIs.
My starting Limit was $3,000 so I don't think it's too low.
I would agree. Initial limit was 400 and received a 1K CLI with 8 months of opening the account. Made heavy use of it and constantly paid it off.
