I'm surprised you only had a $250 CLI availbile when you requested one
Yeah, not too sure what's up with this but I won't lose any sleep over it either way. I wouldn't mind a CLI on this Cap1 card but I leave it parked on PayPal and use it for my online purchases since the damage will be minimal should it ever get compromised.
BTW, they offered only $150 when I made the CLI request, not $250.

That's the 10% Cap1 increase, which has been the standard for years. The one in your borked email seems to be part of the wave of the larger CLIs that we've seen since the start of the year (mine is also one). It kind of feels like you got an offer through the new system, but the CSR can only see the old system.
I use my QS for online purchases, but I always use virtual cards.
I have a new update to this situation.
I decided to download the Cap1 app to my phone and once I was signed in and clicked on my account, I was greeted by this:
I use my phone as a phone, a camera, and occasionally to search the internet while out and about. I don't DL a bunch of apps, especially financial apps... call me paranoid. I'm glad that I loaded the Cap1 app and was able to find the offer. Now that i've accepted, the app goes bye-bye. Thanks for responding everyone- I've enjoyed the conversation.
And also, congrats to all of us who Cap1 finally showed some real love on bucketed cards.
Congrats!
Congrats! This thread is now closed to new replies, but feel free to continue the discussion in Credit Card Approvals.
