No dings and alerts, so I guess it WAS a soft pull .....
Was it approved?
Inquiring minds want to know!

I just called customer service (3/12/2020) and asked if a CLI was hard or soft pull. She told me that it's a soft pull ... 'that's why we tell our customers that you can request an increase at any time with no effect to your credit score.'
I'm not exactly sure if this inquiry (attached) is from requesting an increase online. What's ya'lls experience???
I requested 2 CLI since Jan. 1st this year for C1. One for QS was declined, and the other for Savor One was approved.
BOTH were SPs.
Still no answer. 🤷🏾♂️
waiting game ....
Cap1 is always soft pull and if you got a 2-3 day message it was declined. It's pretty much instant yes, or declined. They don't have an underwriting department. It's all computer based and can't be reconsidered.
As an added note the CLI offer itself does not have to be accepted so you can always decline and try again at a later date last time I checked
DENIED!
Here's the thing .... 19 inquiries in the past year.... BUT I bought a new ride AND a new house!
These two transactions accounted for 13 of these inquiries were at the car lot on the same and 4 were for a mortgage prequal in the same month.
Should I be calling for a recon or what???
Did it list inquires as the reason? They should have seen that it was for mortgage/car and only counted 1 for each.
i attached the letter.
that was the only reason given
@FAMUGrad2001 I edited your reply with the letter because it obtained personal information. You may reattach, but please edit out name etc.
